in Bandung Lusa, Meikarta's First Bribery Session Will Be Held
PojokWarta. The case of alleged corruption in the Meikarta area development project in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency will enter trial. The inaugural session will be held in the District Court (PN) of the Tipikor Bandung, next Wednesday.
Public Relations of Bandung PN Wasdi Permana said the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) had delegated a bribe file for the Meikarta project with four defendants to their side.
"The file was received on Thursday. The appointment of the assembly was Friday, the appointment of the trial day was also Friday," Wasdi said when confirmed on Monday.
The suspects in this case that will be tried are the high ranking developer Meikarta Billy Sindoro with case files number 121 / Pid.Sus-TPK / 2018 / Pn Bdg. Then, there is a case file number 122 / Pid.Sus-TPK / PN above with the defendant Hendry Jasmen, Meikarta developer employee.
Then suspect Taryudi as consultant developer of Meikarta in case files number 123 / Pid.Sus-TPK / 2018 / PN Bdg. Finally, Fitrajadja Purnama as developer consultant for Meikarta in case files number 124 / Pid.Sus-TPK / 2018 / PN Bdg.
Bandung Corruption Court will hold Meikarta Billy Sindoro's First Bribery Session.
At the first session on Wednesday (12/19), the Bandung District Court has determined the hearing instruments. For Billy's trial, he will be led by judge Tardi with two members namely Judianto Hadilaksana and Lindawati.
"The judges will all be the same for the judges," he said.
Wasdi explained that the four case files were suspects from the private sector or non-civil servants who acted as bribers. Whereas from the civil servants of Bekasi Regency Government, including Bekasi Regent Neneng Hasanah, the KPK has not been registered.
Separately, KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah confirmed that the trial would soon be held for four suspects in the alleged Meikarta corruption.
"In the indictment, the KPK outlined the role of the defendants in the alleged bribery of the Bekasi Regent and his staff and how the defendant's role was related to the Lippo Group's interest in the Meikarta project," Febri Diansyah said in a written statement Monday.
Febri said his side also highlighted the alleged role and interests of the corporation in this case which began to be poured out in the indictment.
In this case, the KPK has named nine people as suspects, two of which were Bekasi Regent Neneng Hasanah Yasin and Lippo Group Operational Director Billy Sindoro. While seven other people were from the Bekasi District Government and officials of the Lippo Group.
Neneng and his men were allegedly receiving Rp7 billion in stages through Billy Sindoro. The money was allegedly part of the promised fee of Rp13 billion related to the process of obtaining the Meikarta project permit.
Neneng himself has returned around Rp.4.9 billion to KPK investigators. He acknowledged that the money returned was part of what he had received in connection with the management of the Meikarta project permit.
He claimed he would give back the money he had received in stages. The woman who was pregnant had also applied to become a justice collaborator (JC).
